Really good stuff. No rocks like in other brands.
I bought this brand because I was looking for a himalayan salt that didn't go "CRUNCH" when I took a bite of my food. To test if your salt literally has rocks in it, dissolve it in some hot water and see what's left behind. A LOT of very highly rated, popular brands on Amazon have tons of rocks in their pink salt (people mention it in reviews too) and you can SEE them in the salt, white and black gross chunks. Ancient Ocean is NOT one of those! This is the best stuff I've come across. No rocks, no white chunks, just pink salt. Highly recommend.

Works Great in my New Grinder
I purchased this to use in my new grinder and it works perfectly. This is my first time purchasing salt for a grinder, but I have used the small pre-filled grinders before and have come to prefer sea salt over regular table salt. It's really hard to say this brand is superior to others I have tried though. And my palate is just not that refined to tell the difference between Mediterranean and Australian sea salt either. Then again it might be, I never have done a sea salt comparison taste test. But the Mediterranean tastes as good as other sea salts I have used and it was a good value so I am pleased with the purchase and can recommend this salt if you have a grinder. Maybe I will buy some of the French Sea Salt and do that comparison. I mean how can I pass up the chance to try the "Caviar Of Salt" - even at over twice the price. You only live once :)

well, it's sea salt. exactly what it claims to be. tastes like salt, looks like salt. I chose this mainly because of the packaging, which looked like it'd be convenient for storage as well as pouring into a grinder (it is).

EASY TO POUR INTO A SALT GRINDER
I like the packaging of this salt. We use it in a battery salt grinder. The package has a narrow spout, so every drop went into our device, instead of on the counter top. Because it’s easy to use I’ll be buying again. I’m not a conisuer of salt flavor, but it tastes good to me. I’ll buy it again because it’s easy to fill my grinder. I thought I was getting too packages, not one. The picture was misleading. The price is pretty high. I will be checking for a better price.

I wanted to try and taste "SaltWorks Sel Gris French Grey Sea Salt Fine Grain Pour Spout Pouch, 16 Ounce", and I have cooked and added to salads, it has a mild taste, and the pour spout pouch is a terrific idea, because salt tends to accumulate moisture, and this packaging prevents that.

Good finishing salt for the price
I bought this instead of a more popular brand because it cost less per ounce and I’m happy with the product. The flakes are light and taste good. I live in a dry environment so I can’t say anything about its tendency to clump.

Salt is very flavorful. It does not have the overbearing blast of sodium taste like a lot of kosher do. The packaging is easy to use with the larger spout on it. Filling my grinder is very easy with no spillage.

Love packaging and texture
It tastes like salt. I don't have a super refined palette, sorry, but I can talk about the texture and the packaging. I put it in my electric grinder and it's flakes up really easily in the grinder, coming out very evenly. It looks pretty on top of dishes because of it, like little flecks of crystal glistening atop a delicious meal. The packaging/spout made it very, very easy to pour into the grinder, reseal, and store until I need to refill again. It's not like borderline open like a lot of the ones with the fold-out spouts so I don't have to worry about anything crawling in or moisture getting inside of it. Great! Thank you.
